On September 10, semiconductor distributor Wen Ye announced its revenue in August.

Revenue in August was NT $81.54 billion (about 11.462 billion yuan), an increase of 61.87% from the same period last year and a decrease of about 14.35% from the previous month, the third highest in the calendar year.

Cumulative consolidated revenue in the first eight months of NT $613.039 billion (about 135.543 billion yuan), an increase of 79.29% over the same period last year.

In the third quarter, Wenye mainly benefited from the momentum of mobile phone shipments, and it is expected that there will be double-digit growth in revenue this quarter, and the previously acquired Fuchang Electronics (Future) is expected to maintain flat quarterly revenue due to the adjustment of automotive and industrial materials inventories in Europe and the United States.

Although Europe and the United States automobile, industrial control is still in the inventory adjustment stage, which indirectly affects the operating performance of Fuchang Electronics this quarter, however, the demand of the Asian market in the second half of the year is back to warm, especially the third quarter into the traditional mobile phone shipment season, Wenye expects that the mobile phone business can have more than 30% of the space in the third quarter, the quarterly increase of 3C products is about single digits, and the car and industry are almost flat.

According to Gartner, the global semiconductor market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10.9% from 2023 to 2027.
